How to Feel Safe + Grounded During Uncertain Times: Part 2

Every day is a moving meditation. An invitation to be present. This is especially palpable right now. Open to receiving the gifts that this moment has to offer you. The gifts of reflection, of slowing down. And perhaps the greatest gift of all, according to Carl Jung- to know thy self.

Notice the ample room you have to get to know yourself more intimately. To rediscover and reclaim the parts of you that were lost or abandoned along the way… your intuition, your voice, your creativity, your inner child. Remember that seeking fulfillment “out there” from people and things is an exercise in futility. Everything you need is already within you. Listen intently and you can hear the whispers of your soul becoming clearer and clearer.

Remember that wherever you are, all is well. Divine peace and love surround you. Everything is working out for your highest good. You are supported by your guides, ancestors, and the earth. other little things that are helping…

+ Putting on makeup and styling my hair each morning is worth the effort; even if I’m not in the mood I do it anyways. It makes a big difference in helping me feel upbeat and put together

+ Flower remedies morning, noon & night >>their subtle support makes me feel loved & held

+ Shamanic journeying to connect with Spirit and my inner guidance (I will share how to do this in an upcoming blog post!)

+ Reishi cacao, tulsi tea, nourished nerves tincture are all keeping my adrenals happy and nurtured even during uncertain times. Nature’s medicine is the best kind. 

+ Don’t forget to keep your crystal allies around. Hematite, smoky quartz, tourmaline, onyx and bloodstone are all very fortifying for the root chakra and aid in grounding support. But any crystal that boosts your mood is a a good idea. Let your intuition be your guide.

+ I encourage you to get outside for at least 10 minutes a day, even if it’s your backyard or patio. The fresh air kindles your life force energy or qi which strengthens the immune system.

+ Listening to inspiring podcasts is one of my favorite creative catalysts and generates a positive head space.

+ Anoint your pulse points with lavender essential oil and feel the stress melt away
